1. Overview

At Barbeques Today Ltd, we are committed to offering high-quality BBQs, accessories, and outdoor products backed by
reliable manufacturer warranties. All products purchased from our store or website (www.bbqstoday.co.ke) come with a
manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. This policy is designed to comply with
Kenyan Consumer Protection Laws, ensuring fairness, transparency, and your complete satisfaction.

2. Standard Warranty Coverage

All products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty ranging from 12 to 36 months, depending on the product category
and manufacturer.
– The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage conditions.
– Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.

3. What the Warranty Covers

– Manufacturing defects
– Faulty components or hardware (e.g., burners, motors, igniters, structural welds)
– Paint or coating issues arising from production flaws (within a reasonable period)
– Functionality issues resulting from defective construction or materials

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

– Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper installation
– Wear and tear including rust, discoloration, scratches, dents
– Damage from weather exposure or improper storage
– Use of incompatible fuels
– Commercial use (unless specifically covered)
– Consumables

5. Claims Process

2. Provide: Full name, contact details, product info, proof of purchase, fault description, and visual evidence.
Once we receive your claim, our team will assess it within 7 business days. If approved, we will repair, replace the part,
or replace the product.

6. Costs & Shipping

– Warranty repairs or part replacements are free within the warranty period.
– Transport costs to/from service centers are borne by the customer unless specified.
– Call-out and labour fees  will apply for on-site inspections and repairs that are not covered by a manufacturers warranty.

7. Your Rights Under Kenyan Law

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act (Kenya) 2012, entitling you to
goods of acceptable quality, as described, and fit for purpose. Consumers may claim repair, replacement, or refund if
products are defective or not as described.

8. Extended & Limited Lifetime Warranties

Some premium products may come with extended or limited lifetime warranties. These will be stated clearly on product
pages or packaging.

9. Exclusions for Hired Products

Warranty does not apply to hired BBQs and accessories. However, we ensure operational reliability during hire periods
as part of our service commitment.
